The skull in Buddhism is often recognized as a symbol of impermanence. It is a powerful reminder to be here now and to live in the present moment; because nothing is permanent, everything is possible.

As Red Sandalwood are natural wood beads from the earth, they will directly remind you of your connection to nature and your potential to grow.

"Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

Lava Rock is created from the center of the Earth and therefore is fantastic for stabilizing and grounding.

A note about bone usage: In the Himalayas, it is typical for large animals such as yak or water buffalo to be used for service, food, clothing, and ritual items. Given the limited amount of resources and the religious practices of the people in the region, it is important that none of the animal goes to waste. All bone beads are handcrafted by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.

Small measures approximately 6.5-6.75 inches around. Large is 7-7.25 inches around. Beads are 10-12mm. Skull is 15-16mm.
