Buried Thunderbolt Pumtek Bracelet 07

  |

Buried Thunderbolt of Enlightenment
  • The word Pumtek means, "buried thunderbolt" and these Pumtek beads are among the rarest and most sought after collectable beads in the world.
  • Pumtek beads are made of opalized wood, a material that is indigenous to Burma where the beads originated.  Opalized wood occurs when wood is fossilized and turned into stone, making these beads extremely unique.
  • These antique beads are highly collectable.  DharmaShop founder, Sander Cohen, sourced these beads in Nepal on one of his first trips there.  The one-of-a-kind Pumtek bead is hand strung with faux coral and dark wood.

This bracelet features a Tiger Pumtek bead with six stripes.  Because it is from the earth and was once organic material, petrified wood is known for its strong grounding properties and calming energies.  Many Burmese and Tibetans revere these beads as prized spiritual objects that can also act as protection amulets.

Faux coral symbolizes life and blood force energy; it is the stone of transformation and peace. Emotionally, it brings inner peace, strength, and understanding of purpose.  The dark wood beads are also known to provide healing, stability and grounding energy.

Bracelet measures approximately 6.75 inches around on stretchy cord.  The Pumtek bead is just over 1.5 inch long.  Beads are 7-8mm.
