We worked directly with our artists in Nepal to create a range of stunning necklaces that inhabit the spirit of Tibet. Using antique and modern elements, this necklace is a bold and colorful statement piece that will never go out of style. Worn with formal wear or a casual denim shirt, Tibetan jewelry looks almost southwestern to our sensibilities as the design aesthetic is so similar.
Features a silver engraved sphere pendant, turquoise, lapis, naga shell, and various other hand carved stones and beads. Because each necklace is hand made, there may be minor differences in color, shape, size, or style.
Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth.
Lapis is said to promote self awareness, enlightenment and open the mind to all possibilities. It is also considered to be a powerful stone when used for mediation. Lapis is a prominent third eye chakra stone, that will develop your intuition as well as amplifying and expanding psychic visions and clairvoyant abilities.
The naga/conch shell represents the fame of the Buddha's teaching which spreads in all directions like the sound of the conch trumpet. It is a symbol which fearlessly proclaims the truth of the dharma.
