Bamboo coral is often commonly used in Tibetan jewelry. Biologically speaking, bamboo coral is a plant material grown in the deep ocean whereas true corals are animal life grown in shallow ocean waters. Both can be found in a variety of colors and are often white, dyed red, like these beads. Many wearers believe in strong healing properties from either stones and especially from the auspicious color red. In either case, they make a stunning and charming wrist mala for wear or practice. Finished with a beautiful sliding knot and toggle beads and handmade in Nepal.
Adjustable wrist mala measures approximately 9 inches around when fully opened and tightens to fit about 6 inches. Beads are 8mm.
