Incredible Dzi Necklace

These beautiful Dzi bead necklaces are handmade in the shadow of the great Boudhanath Stupa in Nepal.  They are hand strung on adjustable cord and feature tiger eye, carnelian, and black water buffalo bone beads with coral and turquoise spacers.  Finished with a true agate modern 3-eyed Tibetan Dzi bead.  The adjustable knot is helpful for wrapping the necklace around your wrist.

The 3-eyed Dzi represents the three stars of luck: happiness, honor and longevity.  It is the bead of wealth, health, and said to bring continuous fortunes.  Carnelian promotes confidence and creativity, giving you the courage to make positive life choices.  Tiger eye is believed to bring wisdom, clarity of thought, and protection to the wearer.

A note about bone beads:  Tibetan nomadic life is hard, and in the cold there is little to eat.  Water buffalo is a main staple in Nepal and Tibet and when an animal is used for food or dies naturally, nothing is wasted.  These amazing bone beads are handmade by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.

Necklace measures approximately 30 inches around.  Beads are about 8mm.  Dzi bead is about 1 1/2 inches long.
