These beautifully handmade 108 bead Tibetan malas feature tiger eye beads and large naga shell spacers with inlaid pieces of turquoise and coral. A hand stamped dragon pendant made of silver-plated brass with naga shell finishes the piece. Each bead has unique colorization and is smooth to the touch.
Tiger eye is believed to bring wisdom, clarity of thought, and protection to the wearer. With a fierce, dynamic energy, the tiger eye stone is a protective stone, thus called the tiger's eye! It stimulates taking action, and helps you to make decisions with discernment and understanding, and unclouded by your emotions.
The naga/conch shell represents the fame of the Buddha's teaching which spreads in all directions like the sound of the conch trumpet. It is a symbol which fearlessly proclaims the truth of the dharma. Tibetan dragons are protectors of Buddhism whose thunderous voices awaken us from delusion.
Mala measures approximately 34 inches around. Tiger eye beads are 8mm, naga spacers are about 15mm. Pendant measures about 2 1/4 inches long and 2 inches wide. Made in Nepal.
