Buddha Eyes Om Mani Stone

• A Tibetan protection amulet, the Buddha Eyes and compassion mantra carved stone was one of the original items Sander and Christy offered at the DharmaShop in 1999.
• These stones are placed in sacred places all over Nepal.  They can be found outdoors or indoors, as symbols of compassion and peace.
• You may keep the amulet with personal belongings or in your pocket, put it under the pillow as you sleep, place it on or near the entrance to your home or sacred space, or use it in your car or to carry with you on journeys.

Buddha Eyes are a constant reminder of the compassion of the Buddha.  They are so prevalent throughout the country that they have become a symbol of Nepal itself.

The compassion mantra, Om Mani Padme Hum, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of Chenrezig, the embodiment of compassion.
