Be Here Now Wrist Mala

• Handcrafted in Nepal, this wrist mala is made with naturally stained disk-shaped bone beads and features a carved magnesite skull centerpiece.
• The skull in Buddhism is often recognized as a symbol of impermanence.  This bracelet is an amazing way to reflect on impermanence in your daily practice.
• Along with the skull, bone beads are a great reminder to be here now and live in the present moment; because nothing is permanent, everything is possible.

A note about bone usage:  In the Himalayas, it is typical for large animals such as yak or water buffalo to be used for service, food, clothing, and ritual items.  Given the limited amount of resources and the religious practices of the people in the region, it is important that none of the animal goes to waste.  These amazing bone beads are handcrafted by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.

Wrist mala measures approximately 6.5 inches around on stretchy cord.  Beads are 11-12mm.  Skull measures about 13mm long and 10mm wide.
