Ancient Sardonyx Fire Energy Bead

• In March of this year, we were contacted by a Tibetan crafting family from Nepal who were planning to visit our local area in Michigan with a collection of antique and ancient specialty beads.  Our team hand selected 3 striking ancient agates from their collection, including this one!
• This rare striped Sardonyx bead really spoke to us.  Estimated to be between 600-1,000 years old.  The warm, colorful stone pattern reminds us of a fires glowing embers.
• Fire is active energy; it often represents feelings of warmth, movement, and spiritual radiance.  Spiritually, fire can symbolize transformation and rebirth.

Ancient beads like this one were often used not only for decoration, but also as protection amulets to shield the wearer from negativity or evil.  The alternating bands of beautiful Sardonyx coloring are formed due to the porosity of the bead.  This variety and color banding is what makes this bead so special!

Sardonyx is known to be a mixture of Carnelian and Onyx, therefore it takes on properties from each of those stones.  It is a stone of protection and strength while promoting optimism, courage and creativity.  Sardonyx can encourage you to strive for a meaningful existence full of self-confidence and hope.

Details:
