Bodhi and Naga Spirit Bracelet

• Bodhi beads that have been cut on each end, making them flat in the traditional manner are contrasted with large naga shell beads to create this beautiful bracelet.

Bodhi seed beads can be used for counting all types of mantras as well as other prayers.  "Bodhi" in Sanskrit means enlightenment; as an "enlightened" seed, many practitioners use these malas for their essence and inherent teachings within each seed.

The naga/conch shell represents the fame of the Buddha's teaching which spreads in all directions like the sound of the conch trumpet.  It is a symbol which fearlessly proclaims the truth of the dharma.
