The banded obsidian pendant is not only stunning but also unique, as each reveals its own translucent banding and minor imperfections.  Pendant also features a hand stamped deer that symbolizes harmony, happiness, faithfulness, peace and longevity.  Deer also reference the first teaching which Buddha gave in the Sarnath Deer Park near Varanasi, where he set in motion the "first turning of the wheel of dharma."

Mala measures approximately 34 inches around.  Beads are 8mm.  Pendant is about 1.5 inches.
