Rosewood Auspicious Mala

• This mala features 108 hand strung dark rosewood beads and is finished with a guru bead and hand tied Endless, or Eternal Knot.
• Strung on stretchy cord, this mala is great for wearing around the neck or wrapping around the wrist.
• These rosewood beads are naturally stained to achieve their beautiful dark color.

Wood is thought to be a grounding energy, bringing the wearer closer to the Earth.  Associated with the Heart Chakra, rosewood is known for its compassionate and healing energies.

The Endless, or Eternal Knot has special meaning throughout many cultures and can serve as a reminder of interconnectedness and unity.  It is one of the 8 Auspicious Symbols that represents the intertwining of wisdom and compassion.  Because it has no beginning or end, the knot is also symbolic of Buddha's never-ending wisdom. 

Mala measures approximately 29 inches around.  Beads are about 7-8mm.  Handmade in Nepal.
